Google Earth -- Google's popular software programme that provides access to the world's geographical information through digital maps, satellite imagery and the company's search tools -- has unravelled Earth's many hidden treasures.

But, ever wondered which are the places on Google Earth that are a must watch?

1. Mysterious Stonehenge, UK



One of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world, Stonehenge is situated in Salisbury Hill two miles away from Amesbury town, Wiltshire, in Southern England.

2. India Gate



A must-see destination on Google Earth from India is the country's popular war memorial India Gate, situated in national capital of Delhi. One of India's biggest war memorials, India Gate was designed by Sir Edward Lutyens who also designed the city of New Delhi.

3. Buckingham Palace, UK



The official residence of the British monarchy, Buckingham Palace is located in the City of Westminster. One of the major tourist attractions, the palace is a setting for state occasions and royal hospitality. It has been a rallying point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and crisis

4. The Great Wall of China



Built to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks, The Great Wall of China has a history of over 2000 years. It is one of the largest construction projects ever completed.

5. Star shaped city in Netherlands



This star shaped fortress town Naarden is among the best 17th century star forts in the world, complete with fortified walls and a moat. The fort was build to defend the entrance from the inner sea in the Netherlands.
